Boca Biolistics, founded in 2007, is a clinical research organization and biomaterials company focused on the procurement, storage and sale of human biological samples, specializing in infectious diseases and oncology. The company sources samples through a proprietary international network of collection sites and has a strong reputation as a trusted vendor. Boca also offers in-house analytical laboratory testing and characterization services for internal and third-party samples. Clairvest made a US$25 million equity investment to partner with Boca’s management for the next phase of growth. Going forward Boca will be led by founders Valentin Adia (CEO) and Michael Morris (COO), who rolled a significant portion of their equity alongside Clairvest. The capital is intended to accelerate growth and support biopharma and diagnostic research and development efforts.
