Overview
Bolt.Earth is an Indian startup that builds charging infrastructure and software solutions for two- and three-wheeler electric vehicles. It operates a charging network and offers fast and slow charging hardware with outputs from 3.3 kW to 240 kW and a software stack including Bolt.Earth OS and a low-code integration platform for OEMs and dealers. The company reports more than 30,000 charging points across over 11 cities, over 150,000 users, and its software runs on more than 20,000 EVs in India. Bolt.Earth says it already covers more than 50% of India’s EV charging network and is adding about 2,000 new charging points per month. The funding will be used to expand its charging network domestically and enter new markets in Asia, Europe, South America and Latin America, and to enhance its product portfolio. It also plans to hire across talent, engineering and product to support growth. REVOS offers an AI-enabled, IoT-powered operating stack that can be integrated into any EV to enable on-bike navigation, diagnostics, smart alerts, and anti-theft features. The startup is also building BOLT, a peer-to-peer, IoT-enabled charging point compatible with portable chargers and discoverable via a mobile app and QR code for pay-per-use charging. Since launching its smart platform in 2019, REVOS’s software has been used by 30 original equipment manufacturers across India, China, Vietnam, Nepal, and Egypt. The company plans aggressive expansion: deploying chargers across India, expanding to 1 million chargers in 500 cities over the next three years, and entering Europe and other parts of Southeast Asia. REVOS says it will use the fresh funding to roll out chargers nationwide and strengthen its technology team, and it plans to hire across business functions in the coming months. Founded in 2017, the startup aims to democratize EV and charger technology to accelerate EV adoption via a distributed P2P charging network.
