Its live entertainment arm, BookMyShow Live, manages talent, event production, promotions, partnerships and audience development. The company serves over 7,000 movie theaters and operates in 700 Indian towns and cities. Its live portfolio has included events such as Lollapalooza India, U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour, NBA games in India, Disney’s Aladdin and concerts by artists like Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, and Justin Bieber. BookMyShow is led by founder Ashish Hemrajani and is supported by investors including Network18, Accel, Elevation Capital, Stripes Group, and TPG. It also maintains operations in Sri Lanka, the UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
