Founded in 2022, Norwegian startup Bsure connects directly to Microsoft Entra ID to map every user, service and permission in a Microsoft 365 environment. The SaaS platform surfaces inactive or risky accounts, flags excessive privileges, and highlights redundant licences, addressing one of IT’s most persistent blind spots. Bsure reports that up to 40 % of user accounts at many organisations are inactive, a vulnerability implicated in over 90 % of account-compromise incidents cited in Microsoft’s 2024 Digital Defense Report. The company already serves more than 200 customers across nine countries in both public and private sectors. With fresh funding, Bsure plans to expand its team, accelerate international sales beyond the Nordics and its early U.S. footprint, and embed more scalable, AI-driven features into the product. The new capital follows a $2.1 million seed round and will support continued product development focused on ease of deployment and actionable visibility.
