Founded in 2022 by Güven Bölükbaşı, Gökmen Güven and Mehmet Kıral, Buluttan builds AI-driven weather intelligence solutions. Its platform produces location-specific, high temporal and geographic resolution numerical forecasts and machine-learning models. The SaaS suite underpins decision-support systems for air, land and sea transportation as well as logistics operations, while also delivering production forecasts and market analytics to wind, solar and hydroelectric power plants. Buluttan is a member of the Horizon WeatherGenerator consortium, collaborating with leading European national meteorology agencies to create a foundational AI atmospheric model. To date the company has raised $2 million in equity funding. The latest capital will accelerate growth in Turkey and support expansion into European and Middle Eastern markets.
