Cablesmith is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup developing a Smart Optical Cable Management Platform that automates fiber patching, testing, and monitoring. The system combines artificial intelligence, photonics, and precision mechanical components to boost network uptime and operational efficiency for telecom and broadband providers. Its patented Optical Cross-Connection technology enables multi-operator fiber sharing, helping customers cut both capital and operating expenses. The company has been recognized as a winner of Elevate 2023 by the Department of Electronics, IT & Bt, Government of Karnataka, and is a national winner of the Department of Telecommunications’ 5G & 6G Hackathon. Cablesmith also receives support from Brigade REAP, SFAL, AMTDC at IIT Madras Research Park, and CMTI Bangalore. The newly secured seed capital will be directed toward advancing core technology development and accelerating go-to-market initiatives. Financially, the firm has so far raised ₹50 lakh in disclosed funding through this seed investment.
