Caeli Énergie
13 Rue de l'Abbe Vincent, Fontaine, Isère, 38600, France
Overview
Caeli Energie is a deeptech company that has developed a patented, French-made air conditioning technology in collaboration with CNRS that operates without refrigerants, external heat rejection, or cold blocks. Its system reportedly delivers roughly five times the energy efficiency of conventional air conditioners. Founded in 2020 by Rémi Perony and Stéphane Lips in Grenoble, the company targets replacing polluting air conditioning with low-carbon alternatives. Caeli plans to scale production by automating a pilot production line to lower costs and speed manufacturing. The company intends to expand its commercial presence first in France and then across Europe. Recent fundraising (€10M) will also support a planned workforce increase of about 15 hires in industrial, marketing, and commercial roles over the next 18 months.
