Calimero Network provides a SaaS secure private shard infrastructure that lets developers protect their data while leveraging the business benefits of open-source blockchains. Its tech stack includes a console interface, a bridge to communicate between private shards and public networks, privacy features for permissioned private networks, and gas cost reductions. The platform enables users to develop, test and deploy private shards in minutes and to connect to private or public blockchain applications such as DeFi, NFTs and on-chain KYC while retaining confidentiality and access controls. Calimero is interoperable with other enterprises, shards and public blockchains and was spun out of the Near protocol. The company is led by Sandi Fatic and Mario Halambek and is currently in closed alpha. Calimero raised $8.5M in Seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand its team and business reach.
