Camp Network operates a Layer 1 blockchain built to register, tokenize, and track intellectual property on-chain using a bespoke “proof of provenance” algorithm. The protocol records provenance, usage rights, and attributions when data is monetized and enables fine-tuning of AI agents on user-owned IP with automated monetization back to contributors. Camp also offers isolated execution environments so developers can launch app chains with tailored blockspace and compute settings. The team aims to build the world’s largest repository of user-owned IP and to offer a marketplace for rights-cleared training data to compensate creators whose work is used to train models. The project is motivated by perceived risks to creators from AI and intends to support transparent, enforceable distributions for use of agents trained on contributors’ IP. The network launched with 15 live decentralized applications.
