Campfire
4/F, Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 12P Smithfield, Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong
Overview
Campfire is a two-year-old Hong Kong co-working operator that runs industry-focused spaces across multiple verticals. Its portfolio includes eight Hong Kong locations spanning co-education, co-retail, co-living and conventional co-working venues, plus a fashion-focused site with a runway, photo studio, fabric facility and 3D printer. The company raised an $18 million Series A, with prior capital of $6 million raised in March 2017. The new capital is equity-based and was provided up front rather than as location-specific JV funding. Campfire plans immediate overseas expansion, opening its first international space in London (Shoreditch) and later launching sites in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore. Longer-term growth targets include additional global gateway cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok and Brisbane.
