Campo Rico produces NPK-based formulation fertilizers and operates as a principal fertilizer operator through the port of Santarém and several barge ports along the river. The company blends fertilizer at plants in Almirante Tamandaré, Rondonópolis, and Santarém and currently serves multiple markets across Brazil. Founded in 2014, Campo Rico has grown by bringing fertilizer solutions to farmers in Northern Brazil and is based operationally in Santarém with a corporate office in São Paulo. With the announced investment the company plans to add capacity in the Northern region after identifying several underserved markets that can be developed. Campo Rico expects to initially have around 50 direct employees. Management says the new capital will be used to accelerate growth and add assets to reach full sales potential.
