Overview
Canadian Copper Corp (CSE: CCI) is focused on creating a new Canadian critical-metals operation anchored by the permitted Caribou Processing Complex, which includes a mill, tailings facility, and access to a deep-water port. Management intends to acquire the complex and bring it back into production while concurrently advancing the nearby Murray Brook deposit. To accelerate the restart, the firm has lined up local personnel with prior Caribou operating experience and is searching for a chief operating officer to oversee engineering, permitting, and construction. The company plans to complete environmental baseline studies this year and submit a full environmental impact assessment in the first half of 2026. A 1,000-metre metallurgical drill program and additional engineering design work for Murray Brook are also budgeted. A recently released preliminary economic assessment values the combined Murray Brook–Caribou project at an after-tax NPV of C$171 million with a 36 % IRR. No revenue or production figures have been disclosed, as the assets are still in the development stage.
