CargoGuard develops integrated security solutions that combine a locking and sealing function, GPS tracking and a monitoring system to protect valuable goods and sensitive documents during transportation and storage. The company serves logistics companies, manufacturers, authorities and governments that need to safeguard handling of high-end or confidential items. CargoGuard was founded in 2007 and is led by managing directors Jean Blaufuß and Thomas Wilde. It closed a €3.1m financing round to support its plans. The company intends to use the capital to develop new products, expand the organization and invest in technology.
