Cashee is a UAE-based digital banking platform tailored for teenagers in the MENA region, offering a Visa prepaid card and mobile apps for Android and iOS. Founded in 2020 by Brad Whittfield and Smeetha Ghosh and headquartered in Dubai, it provides a digital knowledge platform to teach personal finance skills and parental controls to manage teen transactions. Since launch, the Cashee app has been downloaded approximately 90,000 times and has over 40,000 sign-ups. In March the team joined Visa International's Fintech Fast Track Program to leverage Visa's global network. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate expansion into Saudi Arabia, targeting youths aged roughly 9–19. Cashee emphasizes financial literacy and inclusion for youth across the region, positioning its product as a way to unlock an untapped market of younger users.
