Catalog, founded in 2016 and based in Los Angeles, uses artificial intelligence together with independent visual artists to automate and scale custom visual content production. Its service automates the entire content-creation process from start to finish and uses visual data and AI to proactively produce custom, predictive content. The company serves companies of all sizes and has completed projects for National Geographic, Sony Music, OmniCharge, Pioneer, Patchology, and others. It raised $1.5M in seed funding led by Moonshots Capital. Moonshots Capital co-founder and managing general partner Kelly Perdew will join Catalog’s board as part of the financing. Previous investors include Day One Ventures, Greedy Fish Ventures, Mikhail Naumov, Eric Siu, and Jonathan Berent.
