Cavion, headquartered in Charlottesville, Va., is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing T-type calcium channel (Cav3) modulators for neurological diseases and oncologic indications. Its lead program is the Cav3 inhibitor CX-8998, which Cavion plans to evaluate in a proof-of-concept Phase 2 study in Essential Tremor later this year.
