CellFor is a Vancouver, British Columbia-based provider of varietal tree seedlings used for reforestation. The company closed an over $35m equity financing. The investment was led by new investor Capricorn Investment Group with participation from existing major partners. Its principal institutional investors include CSFB Equity Partners, LP, GrowthWorks Capital and BDC Venture Capital. CellFor operates U.S. offices in Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, Texas and Maine. Its conifer seedlings are planted across the southeastern U.S., Canada, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
