Circular11
Unit 3 Ambassador Industrial Estate, Airfield Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3TG, United Kingdom
Overview
Circular11 develops manufacturing technology and products made from low-grade plastic waste, producing composite lumber used for fencing, furniture and landscaping for construction and estates. Its process involves collecting problematic plastic streams, shredding and chemically profiling materials, using machine learning to determine optimal formulations, conducting in-house strength testing, and extruding finished plastic lumber while tracking feedstocks and carbon via a digital operating system. The company positions its composites as lower-carbon, longer-life alternatives to timber and aims to divert plastic from incineration and landfill. Founded in 2021 and based in Dorset, Circular11 set up a full-scale recycling and manufacturing facility following a 2023 €578k raise and now intends to scale manufacturing with the proceeds of its €2.7 million round. It aims to recycle about 10,000 tonnes of low-quality plastic over the next two years and to create a scalable recycling technology that can be deployed globally.
