CleanSlate operates a network of physician-led, office-based addiction treatment centers that deliver medication-assisted treatment and ancillary counseling grounded in ASAM guidelines and evidence-based practices. Founded in 2009 and based in Nashville, Tenn., the company focuses on outpatient pharmacological treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders. CleanSlate currently operates 45 centers across eight states and the District of Columbia, has treated more than 30,000 patients, and plans to open another 22 centers this year. The company intends to expand services beyond brick-and-mortar centers by partnering with hospitals, health insurers, local governments and community organizations to increase access to care.
