The Cleantech Group is a global research and advisory firm focused on cleantech innovation. It provides research and advisory services to corporations, investors, and government agencies on cleantech trends and opportunities. The company closed a $3.2M Series C, its third round of equity financing, to expand its capabilities. The new funds will be used to enhance the Group’s global research offerings and to inform and advise corporate, investor, and government clients. As part of its growth the company added several executive and board members, naming Sheeraz Haji president and adding George Hornig of Credit Suisse to the board. Other appointments included Richard Youngman as Managing Director, Europe and Vice President, Global Research; Greg Neichin as Vice President, Advisory Services; and Nicholas Parker as Co-founder and Executive Chairman.
