Climate First Bancorp operates Climate First Bank, a Certified B Corp and values-based, FDIC-insured digital community bank that has been operationally net-zero since opening in June 2021 and emphasizes lending to NGOs and sustainability-focused businesses. The Bancorp's fintech arm, OneEthos, is a mission-driven, Federal Reserve Bank-regulated fintech that partners with community banks, credit unions, CDFIs, and green banks to expand sustainable lending. Over five years the organization has grown to nearly $2 billion in assets and reported more than $11.5 million in net profit in 2025. The bank has financed over $555 million in residential and commercial solar projects across all 50 states. OneEthos has generated over $450 million in solar loans and facilitated more than 9,300 individual solar projects since inception. The company is led by founder and CEO Ken LaRoe.
