Climedo

Overview
Climedo offers a digital platform for electronic data capture (EDC) designed for decentralized clinical trials. Its EDC system captures and processes real-time, data-protection-compliant trial data and includes an ePRO feature that lets subjects keep electronic patient diaries on any internet-connected device without an app. The platform supports drug and medical device approvals and can be used for post-market surveillance to document safety and performance through a product's lifecycle. Climedo has worked with hospitals such as Berlin’s Charité and with medical device manufacturers, pharma companies and contract research organizations, and currently employs around 50 people. The company plans to expand within Europe and further develop its software to be more patient-centric, enable end-to-end communication between study coordinators, physicians and patients, and add interfaces to telemedicine and wearables. Climedo was founded in 2017 by Sascha Ritz, Dragan Mileski and Veronika Schweighart.
