Clutch builds a non-human (machine) identity security platform offering network visibility, posture and risk management, and lifecycle management via a zero-trust approach. The platform secures API keys, service accounts, tokens, secrets and other credentials and integrates with close to 60 infrastructure services, applications and identity providers. Founded in October 2023 in Tel Aviv by Ofir Har-Chen, Sagi Haas and Tal Kimhi, the company assembled an experienced engineering team and launched an MVP within months. Clutch plans to use the new funding for R&D, product development and to expand its business development efforts. The company is targeting a market where machine identities in large enterprises have ballooned—from 320,000 in 2022 to 1 million in 2024 per Venafi research—creating demand for non-human identity solutions. Clutch Security offers a Universal NHI Security Platform that provides complete visibility and contextual insights into non-human identities across cloud, SaaS, on-prem, vaults code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and data warehouses. The platform includes Identity Lineage™ visualizations to show NHI context, risk identification and prioritization based on severity and business impact, and tailored remediation playbooks. Clutch detects suspicious or abnormal NHI behavior and integrates with existing security workflows for swift response and incident resolution. It also supports Zero Trust protections by certifying and verifying NHIs to reduce exposure and enforce trust-based controls. The company positions its solution as designed for scale and to preserve business velocity while improving security. Clutch emerged from stealth and announced an $8.5M Seed round to support its go-to-market and product efforts.
