Coastr builds a digital platform to streamline vehicle hire operations and deliver a seamless, data-driven rental experience. The company said it will launch additional products in 2022, including on-demand fleet insurance, integrated vehicle financing and connectivity to major booking platforms. It secured a funding boost and has been scaling rapidly over the past year, reporting a fivefold increase in its customer base and doubling headcount to 35. Management is targeting expansion across the UK and Europe over the next two years, and its technology is being trialled internationally.
