Code Institute delivers online full-stack coding bootcamp courses to students globally and counts customers including BT, Facebook, Google and HubSpot. The company operates in four European countries as well as the USA, Canada and Singapore. Founded in 2015 and based in Dublin, Ireland, Code Institute has almost 2,000 students who have completed or are in the process of completing its Full Stack Coding Bootcamp course. Jim Cassidy is CEO. The company raised funding to support international expansion and to grow its global footprint. The core product is instructor-led online coding education aimed at enterprise customers and individual learners. Code Institute delivers certified, 3-month bootcamp-style full-stack software coding programs designed to give graduates job-ready skills. Its curriculum is fully accredited and certified by Edinburgh Napier University and was developed with an Industry Advisory Council including experts from PayPal, Morgan McKinley, Ogilvy, Accenture and Dell. Programs are offered online and in classroom formats. The company was founded in 2014 and is led by CEO Jim Cassidy. In 2016 it secured €500k in funding and plans to use the proceeds to develop a suite of future courses and to expand into international markets. Following the investment, Dr. Mícheál Ó Foghlú joined the company’s Advisory Council.
