ColdBlock Technologies commercializes ColdBlock™ Digestion, a sample-digestion technology aimed at laboratories in environmental, mining, metals/alloys, food and pharmaceutical sectors. The company offers modular 12- and 15-channel units and emphasizes throughput, cost reduction, workplace safety and productivity gains for sample preparation. ColdBlock is collaborating with Amira Global and Questron Technologies to deliver its next-generation system with automation to global markets. Strategic distributor partnerships already provide coverage across North and South America, Mexico, Europe, Asia/South-East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, India, the Middle East and Africa. The company plans to use new proceeds to accelerate development of a Generation‑3 automated system and to scale overseas market growth. ColdBlock was incorporated in 2014 and since launch in March 2015 has raised a total of $3.5 million.
