CorePlan
Level 1, 33 King St, Perth, Western Australia, 6000, Australia
Overview
Perth-based CorePlan provides cloud software that connects drilling contractors and geology teams in a single system of record, replacing the sector’s typical patchwork of spreadsheets, messages and databases. The platform is used by more than 600 companies, including majors such as BHP, Fortescue, AngloGold Ashanti and Rio Tinto, and serves over 9,000 users with about 300 new users joining each month. To date, over A$6 billion worth of drilling and mining work has been managed through the system. By automating manual administrative tasks, CorePlan positions itself as the operational backbone for the mining industry. With fresh capital, the company intends to broaden its product into additional drilling and geology workflows, bolster regional support and deepen its presence in the Americas while continuing to scale in Australia. Management plans to grow its global team to support these expansions. The combination of strong enterprise adoption and customer advocacy underpins the startup’s growth trajectory.
