CreditAccess Asia operates credit institutions and provides retail lending in India, Indonesia and the Philippines. Established in 2007 and led by CEO Paolo Brichetti, the group employs about 5,400 people across offices in Amstelveen, Bangalore, Jakarta and Pasig City. Its regional companies report a total portfolio of €240m and serve over 1.3 million clients. The company will use new capital to accelerate expansion of its retail lending operations into one to two additional Asian countries. Management aims to more than double the client base to over 3 million customers. In the longer term CreditAccess Asia plans to seek a stock listing to continue funding growth.
