Overview
Croosing develops proprietary “superlinks,” a new generation of hyperlinks that stay with the user after they click. Superlinks allow brands and creators to route users to multiple webpages through a single link, add personalized content such as tags and comments, and direct users to specific points on a page. The technology is currently available only for Chrome and Safari and the company has stated it does not plan to support other browsers. With a $1.25 million seed round led by Ramot Investments, Croosing plans to launch a mobile version of superlinks and release an SDK for developers. The company has announced a collaboration with Ireland’s Kooomo to integrate the superlink tech into its SaaS ecommerce platform and maintains a research partnership with Sapir College to develop analytics tools to help customers monetize superlinks. Ramot Investments’ CEO Ilan Ramot said Croosing is “reshaping the Internet,” and Croosing CEO Uri Ravin said the funds will help expand reach to mobile users.
