CycloTech develops electric CycloRotors that provide fully circular, 360° thrust vector control to enable compact, comfortable eVTOL aircraft with vertical-to-horizontal flight transitions. The company has progressed its CycloRotor through six generations from 2016 to 2023 and has been conducting flight tests on the current version since 2021. CycloTech licenses its patented propulsion technology and collaborates with partners on aircraft integration and rotor-flight control systems. Management says the technology could address use cases from logistics and construction (flying cranes) to high-precision defence drones and aims to open a mass market for sustainable aviation. The company intends to use recent funding to build its inaugural full-scale prototype and prepare for EASA certification, targeting a marketable product by 2030.
