Cyient Semiconductors develops custom ASIC and ASSP solutions with a focus on analog mixed-signal, intelligent power, and advanced semiconductor platforms. In the last year it acquired Kinetic Technologies, a power-semiconductor firm that has shipped over 3 billion chips, offers more than 250 products, and holds over 100 patents. The company launched India’s first GaN power IC family in partnership with Navitas Semiconductor and has strategic ecosystem partnerships with GlobalFoundries and MIPS. It also secured the Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL) modernisation programme, a notable contract within India’s semiconductor roadmap. The recent $30 million financing (approximately $10 million equity and $20 million structured debt) at a roughly $500 million post-money valuation is intended to accelerate R&D, build validation and testing infrastructure, and support business growth.
