Overview
CytoReason develops computational disease models and AI tools that provide molecular-level insights to inform therapeutic R&D decisions. Its platform is used to prioritize targets and indications, stratify patient populations, compare drugs, and optimize R&D portfolios. The company says its models improve probability of phase 2 success and shorten R&D timelines. Six of the world’s top ten pharma companies use CytoReason’s technology across immunology, inflammation, immuno-oncology, metabolism and other areas. Since expanding its Pfizer partnership in 2022, CytoReason has added three major pharma partnerships and broadened coverage to CNS-related diseases. Its teams publish regularly in top journals (Nature, Cell, Gut) and produced 20 peer-reviewed articles in 2023. The company will use new funding to expand model applications into additional indications, grow proprietary molecular and clinical data, and establish a Cambridge, Massachusetts office.
