Deargen develops an end-to-end AI new drug development platform called Dr.UG that supports target discovery, substance design, synthesis, and drug development. The company says its platform enabled discovery of a first-in-class target for triple-negative breast cancer, design and synthesis of a new drug candidate, and a patent filing in ten weeks. Deargen has conducted partnerships with SK Chemical, Handok, Samsung Medical Center and established a U.S. branch in August last year to advance overseas collaboration. It has presented papers on AI-driven drug development at global conferences (AAAI, ACM, MLHC) and was named among the top 33 AI new drug discovery companies by Deep Pharma Intelligence. The Series B raise will fund creation of the iDear Center for AI-driven Drug Discovery and Development and expansion of Dr.UG applications. The iDear Center is intended to combine Deargen's AI technology with professionals who have over 20 years of new drug development experience to continually produce and verify AI-designed drug candidates.
