Deep Information Sciences has developed Deep Engine, an adaptive plug-and-play database kernel and information orchestration system that leverages machine learning and predictive algorithms to accelerate database performance, speed and scale. Deep Engine, launched April 7, 2015, is downloadable for MySQL and Percona Server and is based on Deep's patented CASSI database computer science. The company positions its product as a way to transform any database into a Big Data solution while streamlining infrastructure and lowering costs. Deep will use the new capital to build out sales, marketing and development as it goes to market with Deep Engine. The company has received $18 million in total investment to date following the Series A. Deep is headquartered in Boston’s Innovation District.
