Overview
Deep Principle is an MIT-rooted AI-for-Science company whose founding team returned to China in 2024 to commercialise advanced, generative-AI tooling for chemistry and materials. The firm has published cover-story research on its diffusion models (OA-ReactDiff, React-OT) and LLM workflows (LLM-EO) in journals such as Nature Computational Science, Nature Machine Intelligence, Advanced Science and JACS. These models underpin the ReactiveAI platform, which was recently upgraded into Agent Mira™—an intelligent agent that can, via natural-language prompts, design molecules, predict reactions and optimise formulations by orchestrating six proprietary algorithmic modules. Deep Principle is also building an L4 high-throughput autonomous lab, AI Materials Factory™, to close the loop from in-silico prediction to physical validation under its ECML (Experiment-Compute-Machine Learning) framework. Commercial traction includes more than RMB 10 million in signed orders with partners such as Sunsea Innovation (supramolecular materials) and L'Oréal (personal care), along with ongoing collaboration with XtalPi in chemicals. Proceeds from the latest financing will accelerate Agent Mira’s R&D, complete the AI Materials Factory and deepen engagements with domestic and global customers.
