Deliberry, founded in 2015 within the Antai Venture Builder group, offers an online grocery shopping service with immediate delivery. Customers select products online and a trained "mamashopper" or "papashopper" picks items by hand at the chosen stores and hands them to a courier for delivery, typically within one hour. The company currently operates in Madrid and Barcelona. In September 2020 Deliberry closed a €450,000 equity crowdfunding round on SociosInversores.com. The raise attracted retail investors, the venture capital firm Archipelago Next and a LATAM family office. Proceeds are intended to reinforce the company's technology team and to support territorial expansion. Deliberry operates an online, mobile-first supermarket delivery platform that lets users order via their device and receive purchases at home within an hour through a network of shoppers and couriers. The company has partnerships with retailers including Caprabo, Casa Ametller, Veritas and Día.
