Overview
Delmic produces correlative light and electron microscopy solutions and user-friendly tools designed to help researchers and companies obtain nanoscale insights quickly. Its product lineup includes the SECOM correlative system, the SPARC Spectral cathodoluminescence detector, CRYO solutions for contamination-free cryo-ET workflows, a Cathodoluminescence portfolio for optical-property analysis, and a Fast Imaging division for high-volume data. The company was founded in 2010 and its early work involved collaborations with the Charged Particle Optics group at Delft University of Technology and the NWO-Institute AMOLF. Delmic aims to automate the complete microscopy process to make microscopy more approachable and to drastically lower the cost per sample, broadening access to nanostructural data. Its solutions are used across life-science and material-science research, and the company plans to scale service, sales, and application activities globally. Delmic recently secured financing to support product development, automation efforts, and wider commercial rollout.
