Depixus
3-5 impasse Reille, Paris, Ile-de-France, 75014, France
Overview
Depixus develops the MAGNA™ instrument system, workflows, and reagents to extract multiomic information from DNA, RNA and proteins, enabling analysis of dynamic, three‑dimensional genomic features. Its MAGNA™ technology uses a ‘magnetic trap’ instrument and flow cell to capture and analyze nucleic acid samples at multiple levels of resolution. The company plans to use new funding to recruit talent in France and the UK and to advance the platform toward commercial launch. Depixus aims to move research from linear one-dimensional sequence measurement to scalable analysis of base modifications and 3D genomic dynamics. The company is a spin-out from École Normale Supérieure and is led by CEO and co-founder Gordon Hamilton and Chairman John Berriman. Depixus has been financed through equity investment and numerous grants, including from the EU’s Horizon 2020 SME Instrument and Innovate UK programmes. The company operates out of Paris, France and Cambridge, England, UK.
