Dhruva Space is developing a 500 kg-class, modular satellite platform designed for constellation-scale missions and commercial deployment. The company intends to industrialise satellite manufacturing by establishing infrastructure and processes to enable repeatable, production-ready systems and faster integration and deployment cycles. Project objectives include scaling manufacturing to support up to two satellites per day and an annual capacity of 500–600 satellites. Targeted applications for the platform include telecommunications, national security, Earth observation, and data-driven services. Financially, Dhruva Space has secured a ₹105 crore grant from the Research, Development & Innovation Fund to develop and commercialise the architecture and build manufacturing capabilities.
