565 Fifth Avenue, 14th Floor, New York, NY, 10017, United States
Overview
Diamond Standard develops the world's only regulator-approved diamond commodities, packaging diamonds into standardized, transactable assets and blockchain tokens. The firm has launched the Diamond Standard Fund, Diamond Standard Bar, and the Diamond Standard Coin to give investors convenient exposure to diamonds. It aims to position diamonds as a new, uncorrelated asset class and has agreements to develop diamond futures via MGEX on the CME Globex platform and options via MIAX. To meet growing investor demand the company is expanding production capacity, hiring aggressively, and building a new Bar assembly facility in collaboration with the International Gemological Institute. Diamonds are graded by the Gemological Institute of America and the International Gemological Institute, and company operations are internally audited by Deloitte. Company executives reported the Diamond Standard Coin returned 20% last year and has continued to generate positive returns this year.
