DocPrime operates a digital patient-doctor marketplace that enables visitors to book consultations and schedule a range of medical tests. Launched in August, the platform already lists about 14,000 doctors and 5,000 diagnostic labs serving Delhi-NCR. The company will use a new capital injection to begin expansion into major Indian cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Its wider goal is to reach 100 cities across India and grow the network to 150,000 doctors and 20,000 labs. DocPrime is competing with established players such as Practo, Lybrate, 1mg and Netmeds, and has pursued a close working relationship with Ping An Good Doctor. The platform’s expansion is being financed via a $50M injection provided by PolicyBazaar.
