DoinGud is a blockchain-based creator ecosystem that enables creators to upload and sell NFTs while directing a portion of primary and secondary sales to pre-vetted social impact organizations aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The platform is designed to be accessible to users with no prior crypto or blockchain experience and supports allocation of 5%–95% of primary sales and 2.5% of secondary sales to charities. Founded in early 2021 and based in Zug, Switzerland, DoinGud plans to launch in November 2021 and already has a roster of established creators committed to the platform. The project emphasizes community ownership and curation, aiming to create sustainable income streams and lasting impact for causes creators care about. Financially, DoinGud secured a $5 million seed raise to develop new features and tools to make NFTs more accessible and to expand charitable-giving functionality.
