Dominion Aesthetic Technologies is a Houston-based medical device company advancing EON, an FDA-cleared 1064 nm robotic laser device for touchless, external non-invasive lipolysis of the abdomen. EON’s treatment head combines a laser that heats adipose tissue to induce apoptosis with a jet-inspired impingement cooling system to protect the skin and provide patient comfort. A microprocessor-controlled articulated robotic arm delivers consistent applications of laser energy over the designated treatment area. The company intends to use the Series B proceeds to accelerate manufacturing and commercialization of EON. The closing of the round followed Dominion’s relocation from San Antonio to its Houston headquarters, a site located within five minutes of Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport and inside a Qualified Opportunity Zone.
