Overview
DPDzero is a debt collections platform that combines behavioural data, AI agents, and human operations to deliver improved collection outcomes. The company plans to develop a multi-lingual AI collection agent and launch a network of professional field collection agents to strengthen collections infrastructure. It serves as a collections partner for fintechs and NBFCs including Tata Capital, Moneyview, L&T Finance, and Manappuram Finance, and expects to onboard India's large banks shortly. DPDzero said its revenue has grown six times in the past 18 months. Founder and CEO Ananth Shroff has framed the business as a reinvention of collections with higher tech and ethics. Founded in 2022 by Ananth Shroff and Ranjith Ramachandra, DPDzero offers a repayments stack that helps lenders scale their collections with zero effort. The startup provides automation modules to analyze borrowers’ repayment behavior and to segment borrowers by risk, enabling multi-channel engagement to drive collections. Its product targets banks, fintechs, NBFCs, and MFIs and supports recovery across various loan products. DPDzero reports significant revenue growth from its AI-powered collections and debt recovery platform. The company has partnered with NBFCs and lenders including Tata Capital, Cashe, Lazypay, KreditBee, and Snapmint and has drawn interest from top private banks. It plans to use the new funding for product development, distribution, and hiring talent. DPDzero is a fintech startup that builds automation and infrastructure to help lenders run lending operations without building non-scalable internal tools. The company plans to make its technology accessible to all cohorts of lenders so they can focus on acquiring new borrowers rather than spending engineering bandwidth on operations. Founded by Ananth Shroff (CEO) and Ranjith B R — both part of the founding team of fintech API platform Setu — the firm launched in March this year to address limited formal credit access in India. DPDzero aims to boost formal credit penetration by partnering with lenders to lower operating costs via automation. The startup says the new funding will accelerate those product and go-to-market efforts. Financially, DPDzero has closed its first round of financing to support these objectives.
