It focuses specifically on satellite-based communications used to transmit e-mail and data files. Its solutions are installed on a large number of ships worldwide, including oil tankers, bulk carriers, chemical tankers, container ships, platform supply vessels, anchor handling supply vessels, multi purpose supply vessels, tugs, fishing vessels and coast guard ships. The company is based in Tromsø, Norway and also maintains offices in Oslo, Liverpool, Vigo, Malta, Dubai and Singapore. It works with service partners along the Norwegian coast and in Cyprus, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates. Financially, Dualog received a NOK3m follow-on investment from Norinnova Invest; Norinnova has invested NOK11.65m in total and owns a 21.6% stake.
