The app enables users to share their real-time location and itineraries with trusted contacts and includes features aimed at children and older adults. The company also provides a management panel used by emergency services (112/911) to view the exact position of people requesting help or reported missing. Founded in 2013 by Guillem Viladomat and accelerated in the Grup Inspirit incubator, Alpify reports more than 1.5 million registered users and is widely used in rescue situations. The company intends to use the funds to evolve from an emergency-focused tool into a comprehensive personal and family security services platform.
