DVS Sciences produces the CyTOF mass cytometer and a suite of MAXPAR reagents, a combined solution for quantitative single-cell analysis that can simultaneously identify up to 100 biomarkers. The CyTOF–MAXPAR platform eliminates spectral overlap issues of conventional flow cytometry and is positioned for applications in biomarker discovery, drug discovery, clinical trials and personalized medicine. The company reports CyTOF systems installed in leading laboratories across the U.S., Canada and Asia. DVS Sciences is a spin-off from the University of Toronto and maintains an R&D and manufacturing facility near Toronto with global headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. The firm plans to accelerate commercial manufacturing scale-up to broaden commercialization of its instrumentation and reagents. The recent Series A financing will support that commercial expansion and continued product deployment.
