Dwilar develops Lita, an AI-driven SaaS product that generates credit assessments for immigrants and other foreigners who need to prove creditworthiness outside their home countries. The platform connects to credit bureaus in 63 countries and integrates major open-banking APIs so users can port verified credit data internationally. Since launching in February 2025, coverage has expanded from 21 to 63 nationalities, serving customers from South America, Southeast Asia, China, and Korea. With fresh capital, the company will add more Southeast Asian nationalities and train AI models that infer credit scores from cash-flow data for users with no formal credit history. Headquartered in Palo Alto and led by CEO Yoshitaka Nakamura, Dwilar targets banks, fintechs, and rental-screening services that need reliable risk metrics on thin-file customers. Cumulatively, the firm has secured at least ¥150 million in equity funding, which it will deploy toward product enhancements and geographic expansion.
