Earflo is building a 510(k)-pending medical device that resembles a child’s sippy cup and delivers a gentle, precisely timed puff of air through the nose to equalize middle-ear pressure, helping prevent fluid build-up and subsequent infections. Targeted at children as young as two, the system pairs with a gamified companion app that guides parents, tracks usage, and reinforces the child’s engagement. The company’s peer-reviewed clinical studies showed most participants improved hearing within four weeks and many avoided ear-tube surgery during the study period. Earflo plans to use upcoming capital to obtain FDA clearance, scale manufacturing, and prepare for commercial launch.
