ecoSPIRITS, founded in 2018, has developed a patent-pending closed-loop distribution technology that avoids single-use glass bottles and secondary packaging to cut waste and carbon emissions for premium wine and spirits. Its system delivers spirits in reusable 4.5-liter glass containers and combines hardware, software and IoT to enable bulk transport and on-site dispensing. The technology is active in 25 countries and available in more than 15 markets across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas, with more than 1,500 bars, restaurants and hotels using the service. ecoSPIRITS operates regional offices in Singapore, Shanghai, London and Miami and runs a Climate Partner Program that includes hundreds of brands, distributors and hospitality operators. The company emphasizes both a cost advantage for customers and a significant carbon footprint reduction. Recent financing will fund expansion of R&D, scaling of hardware/software/IoT, and growth of regional customer and engineering teams, including expansion into the United States.
